Frequently asked questions
Here you will find answers to the questions we get most often. Is your question not here? Feel free to contact us.
You want to work through BWB Flex
How do I sign up?
Email your CV to work@bwbflex.com. You can also email info@bwbflex.com, call us or visit our office in Cuijk.
What do I need to sign up?
To find a job that fits your knowledge, experience and wishes, we ask for:
- Your contact details
- The jobs you want to do
- Your CV, with diplomas and certificates (such as VCA) if you have them
How much will I earn?
That depends on your job, your experience and the number of hours you work. Before you start, we agree a net wage with you. So you know exactly how much you take home.
When do I get a contract?
As soon as you start with us. We discuss the type of contract in advance. Your contract is based on the CAO for temporary workers (NBBU). You can read more about this on our How we work page.
Do you arrange housing?
Yes, we arrange your housing. We try to find it within 35 kilometres of the project, and all our housing meets the requirements of the SNF certification.
How do I get from my accommodation to my work?
Many skilled workers drive their own car, often together with colleagues. If you do not have your own car, BWB Flex can provide one for you.
Am I insured for healthcare?
Yes. You are insured through HollandZorg, and BWB Flex pays the full premium.
Why should I choose BWB Flex?
You agree a net wage with us in advance and get paid every week. We arrange your housing, pay for your health insurance and help you with everything around your work in the Netherlands. BWB Flex is a member of the NBBU and has the SNA (NEN 4400-1), VCU and SNF certifications. So you know you are working for a reliable staffing agency.
You already work through BWB Flex
Which CAO applies to me?
The NBBU CAO for temporary workers. It describes your rights and duties, and ours. You can find the CAO on nbbu.nl. If you have questions about it, we are happy to explain.
How and when do I get paid?
You get paid every week, into your bank account. On Monday, you receive an advance, usually about 95% of your net weekly wage. On Thursday of the fourth week, you get the final settlement for that four-week period.
How do I get my payslip?
You receive your payslips by email.
How do I hand in my timesheets and mileage claims?
Have your timesheet signed by the client and make sure we receive it by Monday afternoon at the latest: by email or WhatsApp, or drop it off at the office. Without a timesheet, we cannot pay your wages (in full).
Have you run out of forms? Ask for new ones, and we will send them to you digitally or bring them when we visit the project.
What should I do if I am ill?
Tell BWB Flex straight away as soon as you know you cannot work.
How do I ask for holiday or a day off?
First discuss it with the client and then let us know, so we can take it into account in the planning.
When do I get my annual statement (jaaropgaaf)?
In February, you get the annual statement for the previous year. You need it for your tax return or if you want to claim tax back, in the Netherlands or in your own country.
Do I build up a pension?
Yes, with StiPP, the pension fund for the temporary staffing sector, in the extended Plus scheme. Every year, you get an overview of the pension you have built up. You can find more information on stippensioen.nl.
